Questions Data Centers & Colocation

Questions Data Centers & Colocation buyers ask

Can Runner grant site access or promise an SLA?

No. Runner schedules techs, tracks completion and confirms with the customer. It reads the site access list but never grants access, and it never promises SLAs outside the contract. Customer emails go out after a person approves them (R2).

Will Census change our DCIM records?

It reconciles them. Census is R1: it fixes records in reversible ways, reports drift and checks power capacity. It never deletes records and never edits billing-linked data without approval; bulk record changes are R3 and always human-approved.

Does Cadence approve or execute changes?

Neither, ever. Cadence runs conflict checks, prepares CAB packets, drafts customer maintenance notices and creates post-change verification tasks. Approval and execution stay with your people.

Do maintenance notices go to customers automatically?

No. Customer notices are R2: drafted by Cadence, sent after a person approves them. CAB packets are prepared for your change board, not filed by the crew.

Is there a compliance pack for data centers?

Not in this build. Data center and colocation roles run on the platform’s baseline security architecture: residency levels up to Vault (nothing leaves your building), risk classes and approval gates. Current security posture, including SOC 2 progress, is on the trust page.
